About This Web Site
TCNG (The Cancer Network Galaxy) is a database of cancer gene networks estimated from the publicly available cancer gene expression data. The gene networks are estimated using the Japanese national flagship supercomputer "K computer." This is a result of ISLiM project which aims at developing biological software that utilizes "K computer." This is supported by many projects; See Acknowledgements below for the full list.
TCNG is currently under development and available as a beta release.

TCNG is supported by ISLiM (Next-generation integrated simulation of living matter) project in RIKEN Computational Science Research Program, HPCI Strategic Program Computational Life Science and Application in Drug Discovery and Medical Development, and the Systems Cancer project of the Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research on Innovative Areas, MEXT, Japan. SiGN-BN includes the results of the project "An evolutionary approach to construction of a software development environment for massively-parallel heterogeneous systems" supported by JST, CREST. The computational resource is provided by RIKEN AICS K Computer.
